didn't do anywork last week, as i told Luke to work on finishing a Uni assignment n to do sum study as its more important then working on the ute. and he planned on doing work this thursday the 5th, but we don't know what time our daughter's Easter Hat Parade is at school. ( she in Kindy) so may or may not get any done this week either as the forcast is rain on friday n i assume on the weekend too not that i would do anything on the easter long weekend!!

Well I have just read through the whole thing & I doubt that it will be on the road anytime during the next few weeks, but it looks like the previous owner had a particular focus that did not seem to include practical road use.

The original ventilation system draws air in through the grilles in front of the windscreen, then passes it through the cab before passing it out through the B pillar vents. If either the inlet or exit vents are closed off, you lose the benefit of flow through ventilation [unless other arrangements are made] & I'm glad to see that you have uncovered at least to one that was filled. Hopefully the other one has just had a patch tacked over it.

Looking forward to following the progress.

13-4-07:

Got the ute out again and luke got started on getting the leftover bog off from the inside lip of the tray, whilst i kept working on the front end.

Eventually i used the wire wheel on the angle grinder as it is so much quicker - Luke was using earlier so i had to wait n use the mini wire wheel on the drill.

I hope Luke mamged to take some pics as i had to stop as when i was using the wire wheel it bounced off the car n (whilst still turned on n going at 12.5K rpm) slid across my belly, so i called it a day n ( happened like 10-15mins ago from the time this post is written), and the burning sensation isn't subsiding so we going for a trip to my dr to make sure so minute metal parts from the wire wheel are imbedded in my belly doesn't llok to bad but i tell you that you NEVER want to be burnt/scratched with a wire wheel it burns lieka motherFcuker!

hopefully pics will be added if Luke takes them for me.

most ive used are designed for no more than 4.5k rpm
