does anyone know what costs are involved in getting an engineers cert for a ca18?

have you asked any engineers? each engineer has a different price.....i went to ask 1 a couple of questions, but he said if i wanna ask questions, just afor a consultation its $180/hr....so i decided not to use him then!!! i have the name of a guy that engineered the V* up the road and he didn't even check the car, ...it had a leaking diff n a few other leaks here n there and he still passed it!!!! so imight try n get in contact with him

That's just the paperwork.

There is many many hours of making brackets and welding up bits of metal.

Several people have failed...they say their priorities have changed, but the truth is they run out of money.

i'd say dattodude is right on the money

so to get a c18 in datto with all engneer reports is only around $750

If you follow what alot of guys have done before you, you can avoid the ongoing consultations.

Most engineers are stand offish with guys like us. Just my experience, like they think we won't pay up or something.
