ha ha I knew when i painted mine black i was onto something..

it's over in the east somewhere now.. same with the bonnet..

all long b4 I knew there was these items,

strange, mabee i was a 1000 designer in a previous life..lol

Yep - it's gone to a good home...

Is the only difference with these grilles the 4 chrome bars? Are they physically the same apart from paint?

Yes they are the same apart from the paint,but its a special paint.

I have 5 coupe grills 3 have 4 bars the others not sure is it 6 maybe ?? anyway they don't seem to be worth much here of course they are not the "special" painted ones but I see them on ebay here very cheap

If they dont have seven bars they are not coupe grilles.

It's not so much a rallye grille as it is a GL grille. Notice that the Rally coupe is based on a GL car. This grille is listed in my parts book as an option for Deluxe coupes, but it isn't listed as an option in the sales brochure.

The GL model [Grande Luxe] was not sold in Australia.
