got a A14 in a datsun 1000 had the flywheel lightend and new cluch now when you give it the power the motor revs up and the cluch slips do you think it will bed in and come right or is there something wrong help appreciate

yea you can take off ok it will even spin the wheels but if you are up in the rev range and give it to it , it will just slip with no go

you should be able to push the pedal about an inch before the bearing reaches the baskets fingers and starts to clutch...

if your old clutch was worn and you put a new 1 in then you will have to adjust it...

i would say yourve got a defect part or stuffed up on the install cause i would think that if it only silps when in high rpm it would have to be a vibration issue or somthing like that wouldnt the launch would be the hardest part for a clutch so if it dont slip then well it aint a ajustment issue
