Congratulations to 1200rallycar for his class winning drive in the Rally last night. In the slippery and freezing conditions we got an outright 7th, beating many more favoured cars in a great display of Datsuns' famous rally-ability. In his first full rally driving and my first ever navigating we managed to round up a commodore, beat all the "A" and "B" class cars and beat the only other road car there- A Triumph, which sadly suffered some kind of psychological or other problem and got a DNF. Great work again Michael it was great!

Go the Dattos!!!

Good one.
I'm happy that the Triumph DNF'd. Being a pommy car, You'd expect they'd go well in the wet conditions

Good on you fella's, I hope you did it all with out bending anything. which is not what I can say for Timbo in his 240RS yesterday!! He got airbourne and took out a fencepost backwards all totally under control of course... It's at the panelpeaters already cos theres a double header rallysprint next weekend.

Yeah, it was heaps of fun, Mark was an AWESOME navigator, i wouldnt expect someone to be that good even after 5 rallies

i actually backed off heaps for the spec point and was dissapointed but my service crew said i got through there pretty cleanly

that was my favorite stage, i improved my driving a lot in that quick 4 km stage i reckon, and we did really well on stage 6 too

we bounced off the banks a couple of times but the mighty datto took the beating well

apparently that triumph is going to be out for a few months, reason - bruised ego
