it looks like a ca20.
the best thing you could do is take it and get the as much for it as you can from your local scrap yard, and put the money towards the motor you already have,
or an L series, or maby a non turbo ca18de.
The ca20 is the worst motor nissan ever made! i think that is why it is under your house and not in a nissan

0r you could pick up an a14 or a15 for around $400 to$500 and it is an almosst straight fit with a good difference in power

the best way to check what it is is to find the engine number. the number usually start with the engine type ie an a12 will be A12XXXXXX, an l18 is L18XXXXXX, a ca20 should have ca20XXXX,etc. it does look like a garden variety ca20 out of a series 3 bluebird or a pintara.not a high performance engine at all.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
