hahah yeah your right but at the point of doing all that i didnt know that i was going to go a bit further ahh well at least its all going to be clean under there if the stuff gets removed at a later date

lookin very good mate, just a quick question, are you going 2 have a flap, or a way 2 get in to the petrol sensor?, just asking, cuz since having my ute, i have had 2 put new seals on the sensor and also replace it twice., anyway mate keep up the good work

no im having them in sealed boxes ,there all going to be removable in some way or another havnt got to that yet ,but should be able to work it out cheers

like what ya doing here mate, very well documented. Have you decided what the engine will be? Obviously A series with the driveline/annceleries already sprayed but yea... I know its a way off yet but getting bits together mite be the way to go sooner rather than later!
Them bigger A series are a dying bread, anyone want to cast some more? haha

well had abit of a break from the ute but now im back to do some more,so to get going again i need to set the tray floor area up properly before i can really move on,

so tonight i started to cut the floor out of a large sheet of aluminum checker plating,

so got the wood template i made up and traced around it then continued to cut it out,sanded up the edges and ended up here.....

also i choose this pattern of checker plate just because i thought it looked better than the regular 5 lines type ,

Is that blue colour on the checker plate just a protective layer? Also how much is a sheet of checker plate that big?
