I'm in agreement on the idea of buying a bigger motor rather than trying to extract big power from an A-series, however there is no way I would go that route on my coupe. I think mine, being low milage and pretty rare here will always be A series although it will get minor tuning. Giving it big turbo power would ruin it. Now my sedan... that's another story. High mileage, rust etc It's never gonna be beautiful so it might as well be fast and there's no way I'm messing with an A series for it! Here tuning stuff for A series is non existant so a CA is definately the way to go. Eddie

This brings up a question - what kind of mileage (err, Km/liter) do you guys get? I'm hoping for close to 30MPG for all-highway stuff. Realistic or no? Dave.

The 1200 I bought visually is spot on, so really all I am changing is mechanicals. I am building a 2mm o/s A15 with twin 1 3/4 SU's, close ratio 5 speed and competition rear end. The Stanza front has already been done and it has 15 x 6 rims. Simple, understated, but hopefully, very effective. James

The tyres are 195/50 x 15. I'm not sure what the rim offest is. I'll find out and get back to you. I bought them second hand. james
