Is this a hard change over? Will the A14 bolt to the same trans as the A12? Would like to know before I even try, and/or start!!!!!!

a14 will bolt to a12 trans, auto or manual, the 4 sp 56a will start to rattle eventually as it self destructs. try and find a 60a 4 speed (used to be cheap, not anymore if you can find one) and if you have $$$ try the 5speed 56 or 60 a (rare as and expensive) or the celica conversion with bellhousing adaptor. its all been covered in the search function before.

Just wanted to say THANKS for all the info and links for this project. I have an A14 already, the A12 just looked really small, that is why I am thinking about the swap over. We can always use MORE POWER
