I don't know the finer details on suck through, but on Blow through. The brass one collapses under boost (squashes flat)

yea ive always used the black plastic ones, ive always used webbers from unleaded falcons as there the same bolt/hat pattern, bigger throttles and have a vent from carby lid to float bowl for boost reference and have the black floats. Hope that makes sense. Also scour the wreckers and find an lpg hat to use, makes it easier if you have the bonnet clearance, heaps of gas xfs around!

What was I thinking? You are right BigD, use the plastic NOT the brass! It was late and I was umm tired.
Also I used to use a 32/36 DGV weber and remove the choke shafts and butterflys to reduce the restriction. I would just use the choke cable to pull the idle up to warm it up.
