i would throw the SUs over the webbers into the bin for performance....ive noticed a huge difference going from SUs that were designed for the engine to untuned dellortos (as in standard alfa jetting and mixtures screws just turned one turn out)

I think Unfamilia is asking about swapping the SUs for a 32/36.

I run a 32 /36 DGV weber on my A12, with grreat results. I few things to take note, would be to remove the restriction in the std inlet manifold to improve the flow. The std manifold has the 2 holes cast in for the original carby. see pic [ignore the yellow arrow, its not my pic]

Bolt your weber adaptor on and remove all the area that can be seen through the weber adaptor. doing this small mod has significant gains.

What jets do you have in the 32 /26 DG[e,a]V weber? i took me a while to find the right jets for my A12, but for what it is, its a screamer and gets on average 320 + miles to the tank

you want results....

SU's are a damn good thing, keep them

take your car to rallyspec (yarra valley fuel injection service) in bayswater

he's awesome and he is cheap

no one will get results like he will, you will not regret it, just once spend the money to get it running how it was built to run and stop mucking around

no excuse is valid, your just hurting yourself if you do anything else!

thanks mic, knew someone would have a place closer than geelong (realistically about same distance).
Is he open weekends? will look him up tomorrow on yellow pages.

here is my disapointing dyno to see the a/f ratios

I am planning on spending some money... just a very limited budget. (max $3-400 at this stage till next year)
