what extractors are you using?
tnp show can you send me the same pic but with the mesurements.

the third design appears to be based on a weber manifold with extractors/headers .... just has a little extra around the 4 x bottom studs

i think im gonna be the negative nancy here but...

still interested in a manifold, would like to see picture though, was hoping for something better than a log manifold, using group buying power surely something better could be designed and still be reasnoble price, most people cold make a log manifold for themself in a day, and a turbo setup is never going to be that cheap, might as well spend a little extra here and there to do it right

also interested on how well a T25 would spool on an a-series?????

probably pretty laggy i would think, my sr20det is laggy as hell and horrible, on an a-series it could only be worse....

just worried that all these people are building drag motors (laggy with big boost up top) that will be horrible for anything else (i dont think that is what people are after?)

better to build something that will boost early and not need to be reved out, and that way it should last a lot longer and not have detonation/ping issues that come with high revs

i had planned on cutting the turbo flange off and replacing it with one to suit what i've got ... easy grind thru thru the weld and then replace with new .... i'm thinking the same as rallycar tho on this one ... big turbo = big lag till big revs = scary & possibly short life ???

An friend of mine has been running T25's on A12's for 10 years or more
No lag issues

I think the real issue is that the manifold is being designed on a 1200 ute. At a guess the ute will have a late model crossmember with the lower height lefthand side engine mount. Making the turbo sit closer to the block and under a stock inlet manifold tells me at a guess, chances are this manifold will not suit early crossmembers or 1000's.
I think it would be best to review engine bay measurements before a bulk order is made.

If you have a stock turbo on your SR20 then there's something wrong. There is absolutely no way you could describe a T25g on an SR20 has laggy and horrible to drive!

As you are all going to end up with manifolds with T2 flanges, would anybody be interested in buying a T25 from a GTR? I have 2 and don't really have a use for them. They are smaller than a CA18 T25 and as you can imagine, they are designed for 1.3 litres of flow per turbo so would be ideal for an A series turbo setup.

I'm happy to seperate them.

They are T2 bolt pattern so would fit the manifolds.

Dave

what turbos did i mention in the other thread? T15 / T20 somethings, well specd for our motors... think they used a T2 flange...

i think there was only 1 t25 that was even remotely applicable...

hey people dont forget i can have the guy just not put a flange on the end which will probably knock of $20, and as for the question about it fitting 1000s i left a thread asking people to measure the engine bays up and no one replied so if you want them to fit 1000s give me measurements
