could angle the intake manifold so that thecarbs dont hit the m/cylinders when the ram tubes are fitted? just a thought

you could bend intakes up and have the carbs onto of the engine. sorta like a rotary
place sheet of metal (and cork) between headers and the intake or a .... shaker scope in the middle of the bonet

I'm going to make the pushrod system and rocker cover also yes.
Titanium would be the best but as it's not allowed by FIA and the class I drive my datsun we'll need to be satisfied with CrMo. If someone insists me making titanium followers, pushrod's and the whole system without valves it can be done by special order. But first things first. Now it's time to firstly build the head. The valves etc. standard head machining can everyone do on local engine repair shop so I think we'll try to keep the head's price somehow reasonable by making it so bulk as we can.

On the net i have seen one black and white photo this head fitted to E10 race car. Think the same photo has popped up somewhere here allso?
This one: ![]() The car in the avatar photo is my E10 rallycar, known as Datsun 100A here year -77 and that car has never been crashed. Father bought it as new and I decided to give it something back as it teached me to drive once. The car is in basic silver color in the picture at february's testing day after driveshaft break. Here is few bigger ones: And first pictures airbox was made in a hurry with no tools.. just explaining ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But this is enough of oftopic. I meant to post this in the upper section first but somehow got it to pop out here. Maybe it should be dropped under main forum?

Would be a great setup for a LHDrive car. Certainly solves brake-master clearance etc.
Is the exhaust port layout the same as a standard round port A12 head? Could you use an excisting set of extracters/headers? What's 'the midsummerparty'? I'll bet you have long summer days in June/July like we do in Canada.

Unless I miss my guess, this picture, from an earlier post in this thread, shows the exhaust side as I am sure I can see the spark plug holes.
The exhaust ports on a regular A series head are square, so no, I do not think a regular manifold will fit, & since this was a dedicated, balls to the wall, competition head, I don't think that there was ever any thought given to fitting one. ![]()

The floor of the exhaustport is allso higher so the turn is not so tight and that helps flow allso.
The exhaustside is round and size 33mm. The inlet is allso round and size 38mm. The valvesizes are a little bit of mystery but when I get the head i can measure the valveseats, that goin to tell something.
