The Z18 is a great fiit in a 120Y...
Not the same in a 1200..unless you have an "excellent", "It's not that good " crossmember...Although I would say yes to one in an instant...

Having done two Z-20 swaps into 1200 coupes, I have to say it isn't all that difficult. You are better off with an automatic unibody, but other than that and the tight fit between the water pump and radiator, it almost slips right in. Let's put it this way, if someone as lazy as me can do it, twice, it isn't too hard.

E15 turbo coz i picked up a whole car for $100nz the A15 turbo is not a common car here, unless u r spking bout a bolt on mod, which in all honestly wuld prob b betta for me, seeing as i hav only built NA a12's, but thanx to all u dudes, cant w8 2 start planning, ill get u a pik of my ol' 120y 4door, when possible, i checkd out the possible donor car for the Z18, it is a nissan datsun 180sx, bout '82 -'83 th engine has "nissan OHC" on th rounded tappet cover, any ideas on what th engine is? not twin spark nor turbo, but it is injected, from what i culd see, the car does not hav interior electrics(windows, mirrors etc) if that helps. its under a tree down th road frm my new house, i had look under torchlight last nite!! mmmm, wot th fu!k is it?
