There is some debate on that issue. Old school V8 guys say the few horsepower gained are insignificant, and on a 350 horsepower engine they are. But I say every little bit helps when you start with 68 horsepower.

No. The Weber needs 2.5 to 3 lbs, which is what the stock Datsun fuel pump puts out. The volume of the stock pump is also high enough to feed the Weber.

Dimlight is referring to the potential HP savings of running an electric pump versus the recriprocating stock pump. Yeah, it might save 1/10th of a HP or something. Then again if you are running a Holley Red or something it might actually take more HP to run than the stock pump.

I was looking at the other spare Dattos that the bloke I bought the rally car off had. One of them had this centre badge. It was an S but as 1200RC described it, it looks like two C's, with one reversed.

Strange what you can find in a paddock.
