hey guys...ive got a datsun 1200 ute and im wondering if any one could help me with a few questions??? at the moment ive got stocko rims but im looking at putting on some starcorp racing concept 5 rims... but wats the biggest size wheel i can put on with out changing to much or wat size would fit straight on??? also im considering a ca18det conversion....wat do i do...thanks guys...

all help is appreciated.

welcome, 15"*50 seems to generally be the biggest before mods are required, but people go as large as 17s. CA18det or 4agze def way to go if you want legal boost. Plenty of info here on the conversion if you get stuck with finding something just ask!

They say that 205/50-R17 can fit if the right wheels are used. The stock Datsun 1200 12" tires are 21.8" diameter, and those 17s are only 25.1".

I've got pintara wheels with 14/175/60 supercats on the 1200 drum struts with 3mm spacers, fits great and the car is pretty low.

If your going CA get yourself decent brakes, which probably means a strut upgrade then fit your wheels around that.
