You would need a Close ratio Gearbox to get the best performance out of this engine on the track

BHP will no doubt be on an engine dyno (not ATW).

Puke is a high speed track suited to high HP/V8s.

(Tony) Marsh has been building these engines for decades and looking at the spec I wouldn't doubt the power quoted.
