Hmmmmm, fuel economy.Gotta love the fuel efficient A14.
PM Clive on this site.He is a student in Pretoria and also has a 1400 bakkie with some mods. Had a small setback a few weeks back by some burglars (gotta love South Africa ) but might be able to show you to the right people.His mods are:
GX cylinder head.
branch+freeflow (don't know the make)
40 Sidedraft webers.
Gives alot of people a hiding.
But I would suggest only branches and freeflow and if you can get a GX cylinder head.Fit that also to bump up compression and give you more torque.
I have a scrapyard's telephone number in Durban that have more than one.

Yeh,,,,,lovely South africa
My Bakkie is still like new, so a bit weiry of wanting to open the head etc, its a 2003 model.
Plus the wife will be using it too, so dont want her to hurt herself now
But u'd neva know, if the moneys there, the sky's the limit....Oh,BTW,I got married in DEC,,,,,

Another thing, the mags and tires i put on, gives the bakkie damn excellent road holdin.
Put on 15'with 195 yokohama tyres.....NICE GRIP FOR SURE.
