I just had a discussion with my parts man about synthetic oils. He said that they were not recommended for motors that don't get fully warmed up for at least 30 minutes each time out. Synthetics will sludge up the crankcase more that parrafin or petroleum based oils if not used properly. He says most synthetic oil containers have the fully warm up clause on their labels. He says that they are perfect oils for racing where motors run hotter than most street motors.
