just picked up me carb (like a kid peped up on red drinks cant wait to hook it up) but cant see any pics on the linkage set up (32/36 or g180) but plenty of the other side of the carb. as i spent most on the carb, filter and adapter dont know if i can aford to get a grease monkey to do it for me, (is it to hard to hook up myself?). cant wait to put it on. thanks for the oppinions regarding 32/36 or jets i sorta know the bigger the better but i had to ask.

I got some carby dudes to hook mine up.

But when I was doing my friends one, we pretty much used bits off the old carby, like the L bracket and such...
Might depend on what you got with your new carby though.
If I had a working camera I would take a pic of my carby for you...

You can do it yourself. I used the stock Datsun throttle cable, and modified the Weber linkage which was for another type of engine (I bought it second hand, not a new kit for the 1200), and used some thin strap metal to make a bracket. This was by far the trickiest part of the whole swap.

I drilled two holes in a strap of metal, bolted it down. I actually used aluminum to make it easy to bend, drill and file.

It just took some experimenting, but in the end worked well. Sorry I don't have a picture.

no probs till i found the return spring is weak as piss, idles on 2 grand, wound her up a bit but is restricting full cycle of linkage will b muckin around with her again as i had to go to work at lunch so i didn't have a proper go at it.
