Will post some pics when I can....I must say with the Sigma motor it really gets up and goes! Anyway, the plan is to do motorkhanas for a while (at least until my son learns to drive it) and then slowly turn it into a hillclimb/sprint car. So we are on the lookout for a bigger/stronger diff....At the moment, it looks like it has a H145 diff in it. I thought about getting a Scorpion diff as it will match the drivetrain and has the bonus of discs. First job though is to repair the rust spots and paint it.

Cheers

Paul H

yeah they fit fine, perfect for the fronts, offset sits the tyre a little close to the inner wheel arch on rears.

I was running 165 60 14 turannzas but even with them, they would rub some times on inner arch when entering the servo station. 10mm spacers might fix it

or 20mm bolt on ones to make the track the same width as fronts.

not a bad rim except fot the offset on rears.

What state do you live in?Or country, because i know somebody who had a galant diff in his 1200 rallycar that might work & he might still have. He's here in Sydney & is a member of the Nepean Valley Car Club, that's his red 1200 sedan in the photo album. He put in a ute diff so he could get a 4.9:1 diff into it, instead of the 4.1:1 ratio he had.

Hello everyone,

I finally got around to taking some pics of the Coupe...

I'm not really sure what some of the bits are so I was hoping that someone can help with the identification...

Commodore Front Calipers?
Rotors R31 (250mm)?
Sunny Struts (has KDFL17 Kings Springs)?
Brake Master Cylinder & Booster..no idea?

Pics Here

By the way, the pulsar wheels that I picked up did'nt fit on the front without a 6mm spacer..

Thanks again for your help guys.

Cheers

Paul

look like the same front brakes as on dog160s coupe.

bit off topic, but is this ok from a rego point of view? Mine just hang down and I have to do something about it. I was thinking of putting a hose clamp around the strut, linked into another smaller hose clamp around the brake line?

those springs also look to be a thicker coil than kings I've bought before... could be wrong though

the Kings KDFL-17 part no won't help you find out what struts they are. Kings list that part no as 1200/120Y standard, and Stanza/Sunny lowered. That's how crap King Springs are - "yeah mate, to lower your Stanza fit standard 1200 coils." I bet they work well...

other obvious examples of how little they care about getting the spring rates right for different cars are the same part no for 200B lowered and 240K lowered front coils. Yep a small 4cyl needs the same spring rate as a medium sized 6cyl vehicle...
