well ill see how long the standard h160 ? diff lasts .. how goodis the lsd in a r31 diff for example my 180sx when drifting it loves two wheels but after a while the diff gets hot and start braking out in to one leggers does this happen wit the r31 ??

and i would think haveing a heavy diff would help the handeling snice the weight is down low ?? and utes are too light at the bak ??

dont know about how good the r31 LSDs are....they do wear outafter a while if you are constantly giving them a hard time
and if it starts one wheeling stop straight away, i dont think you can kill an LSD much quicker that holding a one wheeler(thats once the clutch packs wear out)

my sedan doesnt handle to bad with the r31 diff, apparently i should have crappy handling with all the extra weight of the L series and stuff

will make the ride a bit harsher due to the unsprng weight increase

standard r31 LSDs will not last if you do nuts. I was quoted $400 drive in-drive out to rebuild my r31 LSD as tight as I wanted. Better option though would be to get a kaaz lsd or similar. Or get a lokka, they sound wicked driving around normally

nah I meant a "lokka" its kinda like a spring loaded locker, goes clunk clunk clunk around corners, then locks up as soon as you give it some. Theres video of a VL with one somewhere, pretty impressive and about $600 I think

edit: dattodave I dont think my car could break a h165 but it has been known to do some nuts which buggered the LSD.
