Hey All,
Anyone had any experience with Ebay Intercoolers?

I need to put a cooler in for my new engine and had a look on ebay and a lot of the coolers on there are under 300. Seems far too cheap seeing as whenever I'm in a store a cheap one is around 600. I'm only after 600*300 or even smaller. I've been going through old posts but can't really find much.

What do people think? A lot of these sellers seem to have good feedback, so think a $250 dollar cooler is okay?

Oh yeah, it's for a CA18Det running pretty much stock boost.

Cheers,
Jim.

ebay ones are fine unless ur running big boost pressure..

but yeh i paid 140 all up for mine from ebay.. from Cooling Pro..

But they have 3inch inlets so u might get a bit of lag but u can always get reducer to 2.5inch

You can buy the 450x300mm core coolers with 2.5inch fittings now which are ideal for the front of a 1200.

I agree with Daveman as that is what I have purchased for mine. (For around $150 I think).

Dattodude has the same size as well.

yeah, mines not from ebay, but I suspect the same children welded it up.

No problems at 20psi.

Nah not searching, just looking at the frontpage.

Ask your wife She's always chewing my ear off. I've just come back from 5 weeks overseas

Haven't touched my datto in 6 weeks. Almost a record. I need to sort that out this weekend.
