The gentleman that made the last offer of $450 had his hand on it because when it came down to paying he was no where to be found so thanks for nothing.But they are sold to a member of this forum he is organising freight so when its all done i will let you know.

maybe the person who offered was annoyed that you were trying to start an auction...
it wasnt me but i must admit i was tempted to ring and do a similar thing.... i think if it's a bidding war you want go to ebay, otherwise if your trying to genuinely sell something name your price hence why i never rang you even though i wanted them

Just thought I'd let everyone know I received these yesterday. A nice set of carbs and Mick was great to deal with.
Just need to give them a quick once over and fit them in time for the Putty cruise.

I think we all want to know who the other 'buyer' was, the one who wouldn't pay, so we know who not to deal with in future to ensure that we too don't get jacked around.
