I guess I should of clarified the problem a little more, sorry about that.

Yes the dist. is still in the motor & the the engine runs. I was trying to check & set the timing & just wanted to spin it while the motors running. I just can't get it to turn, it's like it's welded itself to the friggin block!

It's an aluminum dizzy & a steel block, maybe that has something to do with it.
