Suddenly bad sparkplug wire...

Driving home last night, stopped at a light, light turns went to take off and car suddenly sounded awful and was running crappy, defiantly on 3 cyl, got home started checking things, started to get worried that I burned a piston, or a valve... thinking there is such a thing as too lean... Fun with experimental fuel controls... had been watching my gauges and nothing was out of spec, checked compression, =D yay compression still there... Oh look water or something got into the #4 plug wire on the dizzy and made 3/4" of the center conductor go bad... cut it off re crimped plug wire ... all better

That would have sucked too... just got that nice new strut bar, hadn't even installed it yet... This probably explains the gas milage that just won't get better no matter what i do.

WRXs r good cars but the sound I don't like! after all there screamers not HOONERS!

weve got an 06 wrx and they are an awesome car to drive,.I like old cars but theres nothing like the comfort and the handling of the new ones.

i got a modded GT forester and theres no way i've ever heard a datto sound like it .. or even anything like it ??

and as bad as this sounds i kinda look forward to driving it more than the datto ... heated seats, big sun roof, quiet inside, no rattles .... but the datto still kills it around tight twisty stuff

I just had the pleaser of driving a old Centurion tank, if anyone can get there datto louder than that...... that's LOUD!

We got a mate's old Corolla sounding nice and rumbly a fair few years back, more like a Harley V-Twin then a WRX.

In our stupid teenage years we used to roll around looking for places to do westie burnouts (circle work). One night we tried to get onto a primary school oval through there basketball courts, over what looked to be a normal gutter. Once we got the front wheels over the gutter there was a huge drop and bang, the other side dropped about two feet.

The drop onto concrete completely ####ed the exhaust, plus we had to lift the prick to back it up. The exhaust damage gave it that great rumble, and the car shook like a son of a bitch.

if ya pull the exorst off a brumby it will sound like a fully sic wrx lol

I would like to say sorry! why? because I lied about having no exorst, I do have a exorst...... half a one really with a cone on the end 4 an Amplifier!

I've had 2 subaru turbos, and they're fun, one was an XT with a very large straight pipe from the cat back, it made a lovely sound... always wanted an XT6 turbo.... hehe sorry if there was an 80's subaru with a decent body shape i'd probably have one too, the fact datsuns are RWD is why I wanted one!
