So it's either:

F7 (part of test connector)
or
F28/E43 (AT dropping resistor)

After looking at the wiring diags closely, our humble pie sharing friend has got it right.

Looks like the test connector's resistor (red/blue,red wires) is on the drivers side.

Whereas the AT dropping resistor is on the exhaust side, and part of the wiring that includes the ignition transistor pack.

I will have my small piece of humble pie also

When I did my Auto->Manual conversion. I certainly did throw this to the ###house as I was recommending
