the width of the 2 lower strut bolts (that bolt to ball joint) is wider on stanza. so they wont bolt to a 1200 ball joint.

but maybe the 120ys use a different balljoint that sits close to the LCA like the 1200 ones
not like there are any other really good solutions coming out of this

i can have a look at the 120y ball joints in my ute tomorrow, and compare to my old standard 1200 ones.
your right tho pigdog i think the thread topic says it all.. stanza = track issues anyone wanna buy my old stanza struts!  haha

Late model 120Y ball joints will fit stanza lower control arms - but if you use stanza ball joints you will get negative camber.
BJ92 1200/120Y 70-76 41MM centre bolt to bolt. BJ176 120Y 76-77/SUNNY 51 MM centre bolt to bolt BJ163 STANZA/SUNNY WAGON 51MM centre to centre. The last ball joint having a greater distance between the bolts and ball.

BJ176 also fits B120 utes, pretty sure its not for a sunny B310 at all though.
Ive always used BJ163 on stanza and sunnys.
