Any head can be ported. Just use a dremel tool and some sandpaper...it doesn't cost much.

The head you describe has larger valves than a GX head. I suppose the ports are smaller though. Did you say they are round ports? See valve sizes chart

yes the ports are round just like a std a12 head.

the rev needle at 6000 rpm.

i haveasked if i can port the head because this head has the air galleries to exaust manifold.

If your goal is to make power above 6,000 rpm, a round-port is not the cylinder head you want.

You can port the heads with air passages. Cleaning up the bowl area around the valve stem will enhance the 2,000-4,500 rpm range.
