i ended up with 14.1 @ 97mph with a 1.9 60 foot.

so close yet so far from cracking the 13.

but still, goal reached. cars still driving. good fun day, even if i am buggered

thanks to all involved. lets not waste any time organising the next cruise. with more weather like today on the way i just cant wait to drive my datto for more than 400m at a time

well true to my word,

not the slowest (4nik8's uni blowing run of 25sec did that )

i beat 1200rc with his so called 17.46 with a 17.43

in the 17 to 18 second bracket as i ecpected, even got a 17.7 against boof with a gearbox that wouldnt select 3rd 3 times in one shift.

so wiki this ben

datsun 1200 sedan
h150 3.8 open diff
a15, su's extactors and supposed cam

et: 17.4384

reaction 1.2483 (best was 0.9662)

60 ft : 2.5005 (best was 2.4)

mph : 76.48

so 61hp can get you this.

happy but theres a 16 inthere with the su's to be tuned... i can feel it

Thanks for a good day in the sun, bbq was good and shame to see a few issues arise, but it all ened well.

I prefer twisties than straight line. Its was fun but not every time.

was a pretty disappointing day for me. only got in two runs before the rear end started making a new set of noises, and i was more keen to get it home in one piece than to go for a better time.
but, if anything, she was at least consistent.
both runs were a 14.5 @ 103mph

would've liked to have tried some 2nd gear launches, but ah well

Was a good day guys even with my gearbox misshaps preventing me from geting a decent time I ending up traping almost 97mph on 1 pass so i know its got a low 14 high 13 in it. I dropped the gearbox oil today at work didnt look to bad no large chunks off metal or anything serious seems to be shifting better now but ive decided to freshen up my spare box and put that in looks like everyone has a good day but and thats the main thing did anyone get any good pics? mine didnt turn out to well to far away

I've got a couple of good ones - more actually of the cruise up there than the 1/4 mile stuff....waiting for my new version of video editing software to come down, but I should get of my arse tomorrow and post the few pics I have.

can just upload the pics on imageshack or similar and just link them to this thread, or to actually upload them to this site just go into the photo album and hit add new one

has to be less than 100000 bytes and less than 1024 x 1024 pixels and in .jpg format
