Yes, keep us posted. Full throttle should be OK, I wonder how low-speed part throttle will run.

I seem to remember that the 2.3 liter Capri I had in high school had that adapter. I removed it and tried to run a Holley from a '67 289 Mustang bolted straight to the manifold. I can't remember if it worked very well, that was twenty years ago.
I guess that isn't of much help though. Is it?

Hey, I didn't know you were a Ford man

(note to the rest: the Capri was a German Ford import, I think an Escort variation).

Well, the Capri was my first car, and the carb came from my neighbor when he updated to a four barrel on the 'Stang.

I wasn't so much a Ford man as a plain old gear head. I liked them all. We had a few lemons from Genital Muthers during the '80 and that drove me to the Ford camp. I spent some time as a Mopar guy (I'm still a bit of a closet fan of them). Of course, I have since seen the light and become a dyed in the wool Datsun man!
Well, Datsun and Subaru. NOT WRX!!!! I'm a Leg(acy) man (Liberty to the folks down under) when it comes to Scooby-doos!

Too scary ... your experiences sounds just like mine. I even have a Legacy right now. You can see my old mopar in the background behind my 1200 at my website

apologies to ownerbuilt for getting off-topic, but I got a little excited about the Holley experiment ... hope it works out.
