hehe my old wagon will be blue, good choice, i miss that car it would have been cool too keep but sacrafices had to be made for other things, looks like it has gone to a good home and that makes me happy.
the week the wagon left canberra i also got rid of all my cars other cars, i went from 5 cars to 1, my front yard is so empty now.

i look forward to seeing the progress in the future

Yeah, Kirstie hasn't posted much lately 'coz not much work has been done. Between the rain, three vehicles needing work and her pending knee reconstruction we haven't been able to do much.

The ute is etch primed top to tail and garaged. The wagon is partially stripped (only need to lift the engine and remove the glass) for work to begin. And my ute has a blown head gasket.

The aim is to have the wagon painted by Christmas so it can go in for the mechanicals in the new year. I'll be painting her myself in my bodgy Supercheap spray booth (hence why I need it to stop raining). Once she's done I can fix my ute (which is still driveable atm) and then move onto our wild plans for the other ute (no longer going CA, that's for the wagon).

Unfortunately we've hit those snags that occur in these projects which are holding us up. All variables permitting we should begin paint prep for the wags by next week.

EDIT: Is yours the original Datto baby blue Trav?

No it's that light ford metallic blue that originally came out with the ba and i think now continues with the bf. Are you gonna go original baby blue are you?

Awesome colour. Mine needs to be given a good coat of clear over the top i reckon. I'm planning to give it a good solid wax in the next few weeks so maybe that will do the job and i won't need to bother with stripping it down again etc.

Hey what is the interior of your wags like? especially the back?

I need to do heaps of work on my interior hey. Can't really complain though.... worked a14 wagon in relatively new paint, straight except for chrome, all for $2000!!!!!!

The more i look at the wagon the more i love the shape and all!!!! I can't wait till i have some money to do all the interior and get a new clutch, struts and brakes done and interior fixed up and get her on the road. It will probably need a new diff pretty quick though. I think the a14 revving to 9000 as it does will blow the diff pretty quick once it's all tuned and running tight.

You just don't see them around hey. I can honestly say i have NEVER seen a 1200 wagon on the road.

Cheers
Trav
