whats wrong with su's? they are cheap to buy new, heaps of needles to choose from, once their tuned properly don't go out of tune. spitfires used them during WW2 and they kicked the fuel injected messerschmitts arse's.
I don't know of any planes that used webbers but correct me if i am wrong.

I've got a pair of 40mm Solex's as well. They have been jetted for an A15.
Apparently there's a bit of mucking around when it comes to linkages(??) I haven't got around to actually putting them all together yet though.
cheater is right when he says parts are hard to come by.
