yeah I saw that one in auto action, I was pretty excited.
I dont think anyone has sports sedans, more imp production cars. There is a ca18 1200 coupe from queensland, a few a15 1200 coupes, a l series one, and an r32 GTR skyline. I am building an a series 1000 coupe but its not ready yet. Its shaping up to be a great weekend though

sweet, it will be a good weekend now i know there's a heap of datto's comin. the engine in my ncar is pretty tired atm, i'm in the middle of putting a new one together with a few tricks inside. i'm acctually on the committee of the Bathurst light car club, we've acctually got an esses hill climb next weekend too. your thouasand sounds sick. hey one thing you might know are there any quicker ratio steering box's that fit into the 1000 ?

sounds great, is your ca turbo'ed? Also, does it run the standard front leaf suspension or coilovers? Is the event this coming weekend or the one after, I would love to bring dads clubman out.
For the steering box, I have heard that nismo sell/sold quick ratio gearsets for them. If you pm dodgeman, he might know more about it. cheers

the hill climb is not this weekend but the one following, 4th of november. mine isn't turboed, for sport sedans i'd have to add nearly 300 kilo's into it if i added a turbo. it runs the turbo inlet manifold, and handmade extractors and exhaust, and a few other bits and pieces, i'm slowly changing things around.believe it or not i still have the leafs in the front. lol. but it does the job. i might just bite the bullet and machine up some new gears for my box, its just a pain in the ass having both arms touching each other on full lock through every corner
you should come down next weekend !

Welcome to the 1200.com club mate.
I have seen your 1000 a few times running at bathurst. I used to run a 1200 coupe that has A14 for a while then ca18det. It was a quick fun car I have since sold it but its coming down to compete this year. Im sure it will be a podium finish in the supersprint and suprise a few in the hillclimb too. You can view topic.
