what a dreamer!!!! do these losers actually think someone is gonna buy it for 11000 bucks.
he even says to check out their worth at datsun1200.com
im sure none of us here would endorse that!
you could buy a complete car with a ca18det for that cash.
i dont care if the gearboxes are "rare as chicken lips" as stated in his ad.
it seems thats all you have to do these days is add 'RARE' to your ad to jack up the prices.

He must have seen the last 5 speed go for that outrageous price. He's looked at the bid history and decided he's in for a chance. Unbelievable, someone should ask him why he thinks it should sell for that much.

the last 5 speed wouldnt have been sold.

it would have been a dummy bid because noone would be stupid enough to buy one for that price.

response from seller......

He actually knows his prices are irrational and unreasonable though.

A few statistics
He has been an ebayer for 10 months
Has traded 10 times
In last 3 months, 4 trades.
Items sold in last 3 months 2 girls swim wear
Items bought in last 3 months. ! Valiant Ute brochure, I Hatfield V8 into Holden booklet.

6 items over 90 days old so no details.
Negative feedback - none

I guess he is entitled to have a go. The prices are too high for me to even think about, so I won't be bidding. If nobody else does either then he can chose to re-list, withdraw completely, or offer it up in the local Broken Hill newspaper or, .....[other]

If he actually wants to sell it then he will need to have a look at the market & adjust pricing accordingly. Removing a zero will probably be closer to the mark I think, but whatever, it's his item & he can 'ask' whatever he likes.

It's like sex, you don't ask, you don't get, but in his case he's a little ambitious
