in my ute i originaly used a cut down auto stanza tailshaft which mated my 12a rotary engine to the stock ute diff.

had it like that for about 6 months and the diff and stanza uni never looked like breaking. the diff still lives on now with an lsd in boofheads sedan.

you'll only run into problems with the ute diff if you lock it.

Ok sweet thanks ange. Like i said a while off yet but just getting ideas. Will definately go the ute diff though.

And big D if ange is right i guess you are gonna have some problems then if you do that swap you were talking about and do what you are planning to do
