While the engine is out of my 1200 coupe, i've been thinking of a new coat of paint. Does anyone know of a place that will treat a 1200 well? I dont want someone to paint it that has no respect for the car if you know what i mean. Im thinking of painting it white.. Its matt black right now - and i think it deserves better!!

I got mine painted at G & N Smash repairs in guilford. it's silver which shows any imperfections but unless you look really hard you can't find any. wasn't exactly cheap but worth it.

How much are you looking at spending? That's what will decide how good the end result is

Mine cost seven, and took 12 months, with me stripping it down. That was 4 years ago.

I vote for buy a new car, spray painters are worse than mobile phone salesmen when it comes to lies and bull turd excuses.

If you don't know a painter personally, it's a lose lose situation.

I'd like a nice job - but it doesnt have to be the best in the world. I just need a fresh coat. I'd doubt i'll be towing it more than 30k from where it is now in Glebe. Send us a link to the pic's anyway - i can allways dream of show-paint!!
