#1 tunnel work; engine change
Cuttsy Posted on: 2007/11/23 7:34
i was just wondering how much do i need to widen the tunnel of a 1979 datsun 1200 ute to allow for the appropriate size to fit the gearbox that will attatch to a ca18det...
or is it easier to cut out the old tunnel an get a different one welded in its place?? if so which tunnel is my best option for this transplant??

thanx muchly

put engine and box in after you cut out
so you can see the best way to make it so you can get to the bolts easy..starter etc..
then take out and weld new 1 in
