Do a search for 'Nissan L18' either here or on Google Images. There should be a butt-load of pics out there.

found one! thanks did search.

the reason I wanted a pic is because I wanted to know if the 1800 engine in my 1500 ute was a L18, and by the looks of it, it is!

ps. is the L18 any good?

Could be any 4 cylinders L series.
L14, L16 L18 ...

Yes the L16 and the L18 are good.

I think it's a L18 because it is larger than the j15 that was in it, but the L16 no.

Down on the right hand side of the block there should be a marking with L18 on it.

Also the engine number shoudl read L18-etc...

They are a good motor with plenty of potential.

There's also plenty of bolt on go fast bits around
