i doubt if you could get a blue slip for it in NSW did the GX Sedan have disc front end?

I had a Sth African one just like this....that's the one that was destroyed by vandals....ahh the pain.

Maybe there was a imported range of them to Aust?

Yes, they have disc brakes.Unfortunately the discs are not available anymore as replacement parts when I wanted to replace them.They were too thin to use properly.I installed the complete 2005 Nissan 1400 bakkie front suspention as parts are available almost anywhere.
