the wheels are 14x6 superlites. Suspension wise its pretty stock, i have inserted a set of 120y struts in the front (with new inserts), but still kept the origonal strut tops. i have put a set of lowered and slightly stiffened springs in the front. and the rear just has some lowering blocks and new shocks.
The a/c came from my local wrecker. It is an after market unit and can be found in older cars that people have previously installed. I only paid $200 for a complete working system.
I took a couple of more pictures of my nterior because the other doesn't really show the whole thing (was to show console)

The Laser was Ford Australia's rebadged version of a Mazda model.
In earlier versions of the Laser it was a rebadged Mazda 323, but I don't know what these KQ's are so hopefully someone can help out with this
The KQ was available around 2001

Ohhhhhhh....
I think I just wet myself.
That interior is perfect! The choice is perfect. Is the grey color original or did you change the color?

Just awsome!!!

yep those are reversing sensors, I figured after putting all of the effort into shaving the bumpers off would be wasted on the first thing u backed into.

This ute makes me want to finish mine even faster, but im going as fast as i can.

Dodgeman, thanks for the ford info - I'm not sure iti's the same car buy Mazda had the Protege over here. Its a compact 2 or 4 door, the only thing small I've seen in Ford of that era would be the Escort & I don't think the focus was out then.

Any idea what those seats are out of?
Thanks, Evan
