I am under the impression that they work in exactly the same way that a regular brake booster works, using vacum to push the fluid harder down the line. The line that you want boosted (front or back) is plumbed to the remote booster and the line to the brakes comes from that.

Yeah i think the part number is VH44. The early fords had them too. The one in the pic is a single line system. You can get dual line ones as well.

I have been considering using a dual system for my Daisy, but am still undecided as its not easy to find somewhere to fit it in the lil 1k.

Yeh a few cars had em factory, some had em as a option and some were purely aftermarket.

Works the same as a normal firewall mounted one.

In a small light car like a datto you dont really need it. I dont run one in my 1000 with disk breaks. Its a little harder pedal but you soon get used to it. Also alot less travel without
