If you want to compete in any events at the SummerNats you must run a tailsharft loop. They say if your front uni fails, it must stop it from hitting the ground, and it must be 360deg loop.

Hey all, a quick update, not much happend yesterday (25/12/07) but today, i got a lot done. I started by finishing the fuel system and lines, made a custom water inlet, mounted the fuses/ modules/ relays, ran the battey cables, made up the cooler pipes, and other bits and pieces.
Also today my brother in-law was powering through the wiring (get it... powering.)
We got to a point at 8.30 tonight where we tried to start it, but no go. It would try to fire, but not enough to run. The battery wasnt at full charge, so i;m going to try tomorrow with a fresh battery.
The rest of the car is coming along well, im going to start re-fitting the roof lining and windows tomorrow, and mabe the sports bar and hard top.

Only four days to finish, before we leave, its going to be a close call.

ITS Running!!

I got it all running, but not driving yet. It would not start because i had installed the Autronic Chopper wheel back to front, There is only a couple of degrees difference and no markings.
Anyway, starts first pop, idles real good, hopefully if i can get a lot of work done tomorrow, i should be able to go for a test drive.

Yesterday Tam and i fitted the roof lining and front and back windows, Sports bar and hard top, they all fitted up real nice, but i wish i had fitted a new front window seal, its not 100%, Not enough time.
Also fitted radiator overflow bottle, and ran some vacume lines.

Only two days to go, so there is still a lot of same bits and pieces to go, and they seem to take the most time.

I will try and take some more photos tomorrow and post them tomorrow night.
