Folks, a very good friend asked me to find a very cheap car to get about in. he is very poor and has about $500 for a car.

If anyone in perth has a datto that they need to offload for nix, let me know.

Good luck with that. It seems hard enough to find a #### datsun for $500 let alone something registered and driveable. Seriously though, Good luck.

About a year ago i bought a round light sunny for $500 rego and running. Was a pealer! Didnt spend any money on it and thrahsed the #### out of it all day long!
Ive also looked at a $350 200B rego and running.

Both cars where full of rust! Just get the quokka first thing and make some early phone calls!

With time you will find something.It took me over a year of searching then I bought mine (1200 sedan)sight unseen in Brissy for $500 then as i was loading it onto the car trailer he felt bad about the roof dents he didnt tell me about and took $100 off...i couldnt believe it

Yeah i know its a matter of searching the papers early. Was just hoping that someone might have something about, or knew of something.
An early corolla would also do the job, not that i would admit it....
