ok boys and girls i been abit lazy lately and now i really got to get my rims on my ute! my question is...i want five spoke shadow chrome rims perferably in 16's for driveabilty but it seems that i can only find good looking rims of that description in 17's...now my utes a daily driver so i need to know wheather i should get 17's or not? also i got stanza gear in front and is tubed...check perthutes pics to see what ute i am talking bout any info would be greatly appricated

id prefer 16s. although i got 17s on mine. im runnin stanza gear under it aswel. with abit of lip and a cut under the front section of the bumper they fit fine. doesnt scrub anywhere doin anything.

do you have any problems with the tyres rubbing on struts? i got stanza struts and my bloody 185 tyres rub now!

ok howed you get past that? negative camber? big spacers? btw why would you rather 16's? i dun want it to ride rough as....i put a 17in vault on mine and it fitted on back but rubbed very slightly on strut on front

also would it be a wise idea to get the maddat coilover kit-$250 or Lowered Front Strut Assembly for $625 to try and excape the strut rubbing prob? i rekon the rubber mite rub on the spring cup if i got 17's

yeh mate go 13's or 14's. whats the big deal about huge rims, they make your car look like a hotwheels model.

Doyle, i know what your like and if its 17's that you want go for it. A few guys here have 17's and there are some hot patterns too. Double check the best offset and wait for some tips from the pro's.
At the end of the day 14's in a deep dish look great too, it just depends on the style you want to go for.

There is something for everyone.

split the difference and go 15"s ...
in the end its your 12 and you gotta look at it everytime you get into it so go with what you really want ... 13"s are good if you want 'old skool cool' but its not everyone cuppa ... a nice set of rims on the right color will look the part if selected right, ride heights a big part of the final look too, so you factor that into it as well ...
12undies old skool 13"s look sweet, i really like my white 15"s and campos chrome 17"s suit his ute ....
