hi im just woundring what the best carby to use on a a15 blow threw turbo is? my a15 is standard too if that helps?

Agreed. THe 32/36 weber seems to be the best basic weapon of choice for mild turbo applications. The best part is that you only need to make a hat for it and the breather pipe is inside the carb so it is a simple enough setup. Member ladydatsun uses a 350 holley and a t25 turbo J pipe setup and runs 10 psi of boods all day. He won't touch a weber.

if you could get the hollery 350 for the same price as the weber i would go the holley, especially if you could get a double pumper

My friend uses a 350 holley on his a14 but he spins it hard with lots of boost. The weber couldn't keep up. You can use a gas hat for the blow through top with the holley.

some LPG systems work real good with boost as well ;)

Ive got a 350 holley on my A14 and i wouldnt use anything else. Yea the webber works well on mild applications but even with low boost i had fuel trouble over 5000rpm.
The 350 holley takes care of that. Also as B210sleeper says LPG works great. it runs extra cool and you can boost heaps more on the same bottom end.

An added bonus is cheap fuel too.

With the hat you can get one made or ive seen on ebay a guy in USA sellls them made to suit the holley from time to time.

You will need an adapter plate, not shore whats available these days but i got one off the shelf for a holden and had it welded to my inlet manifold. then a gasket and bolt the baby on.
Another thing with the holley is it sits high and you havent put the hat on yet. You might need some sort of scoop or maybe a GX bonnet to allow clearence.

The next upgrade manifold is use Twin webber manifold, and have it welded up for the holley, this will let you port the head out heaps more than the standard manifold.

Or is there a downdraft 'twin webber' manifold for the datsuns??
