Didn't actually see it, but watched the new british movie Hot Fuzz over the weekend. About halfway through where the over zealous detective finds out what the hell is going on in the "quiet" little town, he gets to a meeting in the castle with a bunch of people dressed in black monks gowns sitting around a table. After some talk, the one guy(the police chief) explains to him how his wife died driving her little "Datsun Cherry" into a river...

I think this is a B310 Coupe, it looks like it to me anyway and it goes by pretty fast so you can excuse if it isn't. It's just after the intro of one of my favourite movies, Cannonball Run 3\ Cannonball Fever\Speedzone

i seen one about 2 weeks ago on a crime show in new zealand it was a bright orange 1200 sadan its probly someones of here yer it drives past a couple of times why some chicks are having a fight lol

I think in most of south african movies theres a datto .eg leon schuster 'you must be joking' theres a blue datto 1200/1400? that drove past in the background.

There's a couple of datsun 1200 utes (bakkies?) in Blood Diamond. Then a few early 60's 1200 sedans I think.

The utes appear in the scenes leading to the the rebels storming the city.

im just watching back to the future and in the first ten minutes before the ad break i saw 2 240z's the 1200 coupe white one that someone posted a screenshot of in another thread, a green 120y coupe with the honeycomb shaped hubcaps, a maroon 1200 sedan 2dr and a diarhoeaa coloured 120y sedan all in schmick condition too

Not really a movie, but entertainment value that can match the best of them, Mythbusters...

It's the one where they strap the hobby rockets to that Chevy Impala, and make it go woosh. It flashes by very quickly, not the Impala the Datsun sighting, and this is the only part you see of it. It comes by just when they set out to look for the Impala, and they flash a bunch of car badges. Recorded it on the PVR the previous night, and watched it last night. Old episode, but I missed it when it was first aired.

The white one (just before the blue one) looks to be a 1200 ute.

not sure if it has been said but there is a 120y b210 coupe parked in the street when they walk out of the house in "turner and hooch"-i think and that movie "go" with katie holmes dont they get around in a datto?
