Is this in a 1200?

Personally, I would just keep the factory guages (get a coupe insert with tacho etc.), get those calibrated and then just get aftermarket oil and fuel pressure and then temps on fluids. Spend the spare $100's on something worthwhile.

Fuel pressure is as important as oil pressure, you definitely don't want it leaning out in high revs due to not enough fuel volume and a pressure guage will tell you this.

My 2cents.

I agree.

I need to find another dash tos uit... i was planning for a cluster out of a 89 180sx...

But in the end the fron faacia of the dash needs to be replaced and the only gauge that does work is the big 5" tacho.

All the rest i glean from the microtech display unit mounted on the dash...

But how do i convert a mechanical type to an electric?

Do i need some sort of an adaptor to fit an electronic conversion?

Yeah mine has a trip meter and odometer. I cant remember how much it cost but it was around the 380-400 mark from a mate at autobarn.

I dont know about that, I think you can get a mechanical to electric sender unit. I have an SR20 in my car so the gearbox already has an electric sender.

Can i just replace the analogue unit with a digital unit like yours into a R30 box to work with the speedo?
