The piping looks ok in the picture.

Leaving the intake cam cover venting to PCV is a good plan.

The small diameter hose could cause a problem, especially if it's not plumbed to the intake tract.

I use the small diameter hose on mine, using a similar 'greddy copy' catchcan, but with it plumbed up, I've never even seen oil in my catch can.

The exhaust side needs to breath under boost, because it's the only place for blowby to exit from. When not on boost the intake cam side also helps.

I think most likely though, is that you are running with too much oil. Run the engine with dipstick on half-full for a little while

a vacuum works like this , the harder you rev the engine the more vacuum it will suck out of your engine so i doesnt cause oil leaks but you dont want to much vacuum where your breather is you put a hose from there to the vacuum pump and than to a catch can it just stops oil leaks .on my drag car i use it because i have a high comp engine and i forever have oil leaks i fix one spot and than it comes from somewhere now its all fixed with the vacuum pump its easy to set up if you want pics let me know i can email to you

i had a problem with my catch can as well, was fetting condensation under oil cap, ended up putting pcv valves in the lines from sump and rocker cover to breather to stop water or condensation into the rocker cover lines. Acting like a one way valve almost.

Sounds like too much boost in that ca

the breather pipe on catch can goes into the bottom of pod filter so should be venting fairly well although it is slightly smaller than the other. and i am only running 12psi. i do put a little bit more oil in my car though i heard it was better due to the ca's oil starvation problems.
