If you cut out the rust and mig in new metal, "she'll be right". If you get sections of another car would be better.

I wouldn't remove the "rain gutters", if that's what you propose to do. I think the doors would leak unless you stiffen up the door sections at the top, or use brand new rubbers every 5 years or so.

Sometimes starting with a rusty car can be a real nightmare, that'ts why I looked for a good shell for ages, before starting on my project.

If you know a good panel beater, or are pretty handy at panel beating, then this isn't a big deal. If you've ever looked closely at 1200s from bad accidents, you'd know that anything over a decent speed, you're in pretty big trouble anyway.

This is how I get an adrenaline rush at thirty five mph when driving my old datto :)
